Did you check the tire with a pressure gage? Run-flats don't look flat.

It may not nec. be the left rear tire. I remember a thread where somebody took their vette into a tire shop, and after the new set of tires was mounted, the left and right side wheels ended up getting swapped. Later when he got a message on the DIC, it was reporting the wrong tire.

If all your tires have good air pressure (> 25psi), maybe you have a sensor going bad.

A bad sensor should give no readings. I strongly suspect you have a "flat" tire and the sensor is working just fine.

My '97 doesn't give the speed warning or reduced handling messages, it just says the tire is flat. I can understand why they added the messages, because it's hard to tell the tire is flat during easy driving.

If you have a puncture, it should be patched from the inside, not plugged. Getting the tire off and back on is a challenge even for a good tire man. If you don't have an authorized Goodyear EMT dealer nearby, maybe a good tire shop that does truck tires as well as auto tires would be a good choice. Discuss this with the technician. He could easily scratch or damage you wheel.

Do you have highways where you can drive fast, like 200 kph+?

Good luck.

Hi OldSStroker,

I will go to the authorized Goodyear EMT dealer in Kuwait maybe on Sat. and check it there :yesnod:

there are not too many highways in Kuwait but you drive at high speeds (even 300+ kmh) but its better to dirve fast at late night at 12 am - 4 am because of the less traffic and police but watch out from the speed cameras :D :D

And in racing, there's only one 1/4 Mile track :nonod:

and in Illegal Street Racing, we always race a city vs city or a group vs a group , like Chevy, Ford, Dodge (Vipers), SkyLine, Ferrari (Modenas) and many others (Chevy wins :yesnod: :yesnod: ) !! some racers race for money while other racers take the loser's car.

I'll post some pics and maybe video clips in the future for some of the cars in Kuwait like Corvettes, Porsche 996 Turbo, Vipers, Modenas and many other :yesnod:

C-ya :seeya

Around here it's called Racing for Pinks or for the title to the vehicle which at one time was pink in some states.

That's a serious race group!
