Sport Seat Squeak

I have an annoying squeak that just developed in my driver's side sport seat. It constantly squeaks and I detect a little rocking all of a sudden. Anyone experienced a similar problem? Is this a precursor to seat rock and warranty repairs? I tried to lubricate the metal parts of the seat that lock to upper seat back to the bottom but it still squeaks. It almost sounds like the noise is coming from within. :confused:

Yep, I believe it's the precursor to the rocking seat problem. I've just started noticing the rocking seat "beginning" on mine. Granted, I have about 47,000 miles on my '02, but I've recently survived column lock and now this.

Still love the car, but... quality for this type of money is not where I wish it were!

I can deal with the rocking, but this squeaking sucks. My driver seat sounds like a set of old box springs :sad:

The plastic trim pieces on the seat and door rub against each other; move the seat all the way forward and lube with leather cleaner or Armorall.
