Default my dyno #s with basic bolt-ons and no tuning

my c5 is at MC Racing for an ATI install right now. they did a baseline run with just my current bolt-ons (before ATI).

99 c5 (triple black vert)
mn6
3.42 gears
295/35/18 tires in back
stock PCM (no tuning)

current power mods:
Halltech TRIC intake
TTS long tube headers
no cats
Bassani x-pipe
overaxle part of Borla XR1

after 3 runs, my numbers were ~ 331 rwhp and 348 rwtq (+/- 1 during the 3 runs)

i'll have dyno sheets up this weekend when they are (hopefully) done. only wierd thing i noticed was the all-too-common sharp dip of about 20 rwhp/rwtq from 5400-5600 rpm. hopefully that will go away once i install the tr6 plugs and new ATI "intake".

kw

Those are decent #'s. Your car will be awesome with the ATI.

Ken, good luck with the ATI install - enjoy! Are you going with 7lb pulley? Figure about 460rwhp?

hey Cliff!

thanks, man. yep, going with 7 lbs. i was actually down at MCR and also at ATI today. ATI mentioned 475-480 with a really conservative, ultra-safe tune. of course, i could push it to the ragged edge (AFR > 13:1) and get up to 540 rwhp, or anywhere inbetween. if we do 475, i'll be happy, but if we get a safe 500 rwhp, then i'll be happy with that too. :)

they had an 03 z05 down there with the same 7 lb kit, and they easily got 525 rwhp. because of higher z06 compression though, they are going to step down in pulley size and probably wind up with 490 rwhp.

my mods put me about 20-25 rwhp shy of an 03 z06, so i figure i will see 475-500.
