FAST LSX highflow intake manifold
So have any of the superstroker guys gone ahead and bought the new intake manafold or ordered it? I believe that was what was limiting there peak HP the LS6 intake manifold. If so we should be seeing some 30rwhp gains right? Thunder racing is selling them for 800 I think as for the 78mm and 90mm throttle body openings I guess everyone would use 90?? http://www.thunderracing.com/index.c...ategoryid=1023

Yep...Not for sale yet, unless they are going to put you on instant backorder. Still being tested by various tuners around the country.

This manifold seems to still be a work in progress. Cartek (and maybe other tuners) will be testing it in the near future, but I don't think that we'll be seeing hard numbers for a while. I'm also looking forward to dyno results from the guy with the sheet metal intake who claimed a "43 HP increase" in a post a couple of weeks ago.

From what I seen and read it could be worth it but until the Hp numbers come out we realy want no.

It is way over priced. So is everything for our cars, but people will pay it so they will continue to charge outragous prices.
If if gains a solid 40HP on any car, I might consider it. I still have the base LS1 intake.

It wont gain that much power on near stock cars. This mod will be more for those who have already maximized the power from their heads/cam package or their stroker motors (NA or FI) and want the extra oomph.
