Is the HUD unit from a Pontiac Grand-Prix the same one as used in a vette?

So if I buy the projection unit from a Grand Prix, I won't have a problem plugging that into my vette?

You need to determine if the Pontiac and C5 HUD projectors share the same GM part number----10279814. If they do, you're good. :yesnod:

The information displayed is differnt. Vette display is much better.

(This is comparing my in-laws '97 Grand Prix to my '01 Vette).
