Engine Balance Issues
As some of you know, when I did my H&C swap I initially installed an undedrive pulley which failed immediately. So I decided to purchase & install a new stock HB. I followed jmX's tutorial which was excellent. However now I'm wondering How I can rebalance my engine? That is to say, the manual says when replacing the HB to mark the crank and the balancer, then install new balancing weights in the new HB to correspond to the HB being replaced. Well, since I was installing the ASP pulley I did not pay any heed to allignment marks and weights. So, I returned the faulty ASP and installed the new stock HB without any allignment marks or corresponding weights. I screwed up..........right? How could I possibly correct this mistake? The car does rock at idle (really great at aceleration and WOT) and my cam is fairly mild (see below). Should I be concerned or simply be content with what I have? Any input from other DIY's appreciated!
