Remote door lock keychain programming
Is there a simple way to reprogram the door lock/unlock on the keychain? My battery was dead for quite some time and now the buttons on the keychain do nothing. Does this mean a trip to the dealer? Sorry if this is a RTFM problem, the manual is in the car in the shop.

You can try holding the lock and unlock buttons on the fob for 10 seconds (you'll hear the horn when its done) and see if that worls. If not you might have to reprogram it through the DIC. Do a search and you should find good instructions. :D

Your Corvette Owners manual has a very good write up and instructions on it. Look under KEY FOB Training in the back of the manual in the index. You will be able to program up to three FOBS. You must also program all of your FOB at the same time. There is also a re-Sync function but, you have to Train before you can Sync. Once you train the FOBs if they dont work for some reason, you can press and hold the LOCK & UNLOCK buttons at the same time for approx. 45 sec (horn will beep when sync operation is complete).
