Reprogram computer for new Borlas??
With our Blackwing we reprogramed according to LAPD excellent instructions. Do we need to go through a similar process after the Borlas are installed?

No. Just drive it. If any adjustments are needed, the PCM will make them quickly and easily. No reprogramming is required for a new catback.

Only if there are headers upstream of them! Only changing the rear section of your exhaust isn't going to effect anything to the degree you'd need to reprogram.

Re: Reprogram computer for new Borlas?? (MikeV)
Mike, I don't have the list of steps but I wrote them down over the phone. The intent was to get the computer to "learn" the new intake right away and make the proper adjustments for best performance. I think it also had something to do with helping the computer set the right "leanness" of the fuel and air mix. LAPD was really helpful and great to deal with as a "novice" Corvette owner.
