The coil packs are on top of the valve covers... the plugs are below the exhaust manifolds... I cant see how the coil packs are in the way....
There are many ways to skin this particular cat, but I pulled the coil packs and had no problems at all getting all 8 plugs R&R'd.

Oh, and don't forget the old trick of using a piece of vacuum hose on the tip of the new plug to help getting the threads started.

Have a good one,
Mike

Put the vacuum hose on the end of the plug to hold it firm. Then put the plug in the plug hole and turn the hose to screw the plug in. :D But you don't need this since you have tiny hands! :p:  :p:

Get ready to get the skin torn of your hands, its a 'very tight' fit in there, especially near that damn #7 plug. :p:

I would buy a SNAP-ON Double Swivel 5/8 6-point Spark Plug Socket.
Part Number is: S9721 I haven't changed the plugs in my car yet but I heard this makes the job A LOT easier.
:iagree: I've heard this too.
