all kinds of grease on the drivers rear inside portion of the rim. car has 2500 miles i guess it is possible that the cv boot is ripped? if ripped boot how much are parts only, as i am installing tc this weekend.
The first time i took her above 100 i hit about 130 and i heard a pop ,thought i ran over a stick or something . I think there must have been a clump of grease in one spot and the boot couldnt hang, probably overgreased or something. 1200 miles on car ,dealer fixed it under warranty. :steering:
I am sure it is your CV boot. They had a problem at the factory during the install where the boot had razor thin cuts in it. Mine was discovered during the pre delivery inspection. Last I heard the boots were on back order as a result of so many warranty claims. It took about 3 hours to repair at my dealer. Good luck
