99 vette tranny issue
Its an auto tranny , im having problems with the car shuddering a bit between 3 and OD. When i punch the gas it will shift up no probleme. When i gently throttle it , the car will pause and jump back and forth a bit trying to get into gear. Im not sure whether this sounds like torque converter or tranny. And the car mostly does it when it shift down from OD then i give it light gas and the probleme occurs. Seems like it might be down shifting a little soon. Any help would be great. thanks.

Welcome to the Forum! I hope someone checks to see if there is a TSB on this. I have a complete list, but am on the road at the moment. It sounds to me like mechanical/switch problem. Good luck.

ok it seem like the car is shifting down to 3rd too late , and shifting up into OD too early. It kinda feels like a standard would if you went into too high of a gear for your speed that bogging out it gets. What would cause the car to do this? would that hypertec module help this by changing the shift? Anyone have any ideas , any help would be great. It only does it when i give it light gas , at wide open throttle it is fine.
