Default Head changes for '99 and later???

Other than the new valve cover design, what else is physically different on the '99 and later head versus the earlier '97 and '98?

Will the exhaust and intake from all LS1 years bolt up to either head design?

Thanks, :flag

Hi,
The late heads have smoother surfaces as-cast due to a process change. They may flow a little better in stock form. The late valve seals are one piece rather than two piece.
