Electrochromic mirror, ghost image
Trying to figure out if the ghost image, at night, is normal for the outside mirror on the '01. Mine has electrochromic mirrors. The day image in the driver's side outer mirror is okay but at night all cars seems to have a ghost image of the lights. Each light on the car behind me has another (ghost) light above it. It's as if the image is slightly blurred or doubled. The inside rearview mirror is okay at night. Is this normal for the outside mirror or should it be checked by the dealer? Thanks. :chevy

ghost image huh? ... I think your are creeping me out.... I know Halloween is next week but gezzzzzzzzzzz some of us scare easily....I dont want tpo be looking in my mirror and see someone else looking back..... :confused: :(

I should have been a bit clearer about what I see at night. The driver's outside mirror will show double lights on the car that is approaching. If the car has single headlight units on each fender I see four lights in total. It's not my eyes. The images are not in sharp focus, they are slightly blurred. In the daytime the image is fine. I'll mention it to the dealer as the car is under warranty until 09/04.
