Default next mod?

ok guys heres your time for recommendations. I have a 2000 6 speed with B&B headers, x-pipe, original borla exhaust (not the stingers) with cut-outs, coolant bypass, K&N carbon filter with air bridge, and MSD wires. I just ordered the ccw 19" wheels so have a diablosport predator on the way as weel. I also picked up a WCC ported throttle body. What do you recommend I do next? I am planning on down the road doing a head and cam package and probably 3.90's or 4.10's. Any suggestions on what to do? I was thinking of getting the MAF? Also what should I do before programming the predator or at the same time? Thanks guys

Go with the H/C package next, before re-tuning. You'll just have to tune again later after it anyway but that will help quite abit. That, or the gears next. I am going with the gears this winter, as I don't want to change the engine quite yet until I can really do it right ($$$$$$$).

You might want to look into a diff thermostat. You might also look into a set of longtube headers. I have been told they give alot better performance them shorties. Kaley

now should I go with the hypertech thermostat even going with the predator? I can't do long tube headers because of our nice California smog laws :mad

Hey Rich, I want to ride the dragon :jester

Hypertech 160 degree thermostat. :yesnod: I got mine from Thunder Racing and works good at keeping car cooler. You will need to re-program your fan to a lower setting, and preditor should do that.

I also removed the MAF screen, which probably didn't help much, but didn't cost anything either. Larger MAF (I think you mentioned this) is good but different intake (LS6) would be improvement too.

Any thoughts about a Procharger? Would be a nice addition to your list.

As long as money is not an object why not just go with a 422 and twin turbos?

Best regards,
