warranty
Will a Ls1 edit void the factory warranty..Mine needs some help and it only has 1200 miles on it. Any advice appreciated...I understand that when the pcm is flashed that it should be back to the factory program before taking it in for repairs or warranty work..I would like to know if dyno work would void the warranty

probably. I;m certain that any dealer (wanting to get out of low profit warranty work) could blame LS1-Edit for just about everything that could go wrong.
Why tell them about it in the first place?

Will they not notice that something is changeded unless it has the factory program put back
Many programmers (ls1-Edit and the Predator are a few) allow you to load your factory program back in to the PCM. A handy feature one can use just before returning the car to the dealer for warranty repair.

Actually we are not..if it is not for a specific repair we aren't supposed to touch the programming.
DiamondDave..it all depends on the dealer and you problem as to whether or not it will matter.

if the dealer contacts GM via their data link; the VIN is sent along with the info request. It's at that point that GM may request the dealer to flash a PCM upgrade.
