Just put some on this weekend. Looked exactly like the stock ones that were on. They were ~$24 ea. Can't speak to how they stand up just yet but the price is right!
No, can't say that I do. However, if anyone in FL is looking for excellent set of like new OEM rotors from 2001 vette, I will deliver set of 4 for $90. Have only 12k on them. :auto:
I just put some on today. I believe another local was running them incliding track events in his Z06 with good luck.
That would be me. :D
7 trackdays and 20k miles total. They are heat checked a bit but you always see that from the track. I do run a little air to the fronts for trackdays, but I still think they are much better then the stock. I just ordered a second set to have ready if these get heat checks to the outer edge.
I have a couple of thousand miles on mine........so far , so good
They are made by Raybestos
I noticed those for sale on rockauto.com for ~ $18. I also noticed a brand I never heard of called Allsafe, for ~ $14.
I just checked the Raybestos web site for information about their "professional grade" rotors. Here's what they say:
"PG PLUS™ Rotors offer the most complete line of VSM™ vehicle specific metallurgy rotors, the latest development in rotor technology. These premium, high-quality rotors feature 67 distinct vane configurations, to ensure your replacement part matches Original Equipment design . The rotors have an ultra smooth braking surface to reduce noise, dust and maximize disc pad life. Compared to economy rotors, PG PLUS VSM Rotors are three times quieter, can stop your vehicle 22.5 feet sooner and provide up to 30% more pad life. They are designed to provide the highest levels of dependability, safety and superior performance. "
I just added some Raybestos rotors/ceramics to my Honda Accord. I know you guys hate rice, but point is these rotors are great so far. Just looking at them, they look like a quality rotor.
I am glad to hear they are o.k. I just bought a set of the NAPA rotors and
ceramic pads and they are going on this week.I will let anyone who cares
know how they turn out!
I have put two set on my wife's Jeep. These rotors don't have enough metal to be turned. They seem to wear out with the pads. My wife uses them up in about 30k miles. Haven't had to do any brake work on my Y2K C5 Vert. yet. Probably would not use. Cheap they are. You know I have a 1993 Probe GT with 115K miles and I haven't had to change or turn yes turn the rotors since I bought it new in '92. 3 sets of pads and no markes on the rotors. Two sets were NAPA. I think I would rather opt for quality over price. :auto:

What kind of Jeep do you have?? I've had a 97 Grand Cherokee Ltd, 95 Cherokee sport, and a 99 Wrangler sport. The cherokee and Grand cherokee ate up brakes and tires like it was there job, the wrangler was ok. Lots o' nose dive and weight when stopping.
From what others have said, these rotors seem to be OEM quality. I think they should hold out to at least 30K or more, but driving characteristics are a big factor.
Would you guys recommend replacing the stock pads if I put on the new rotors? If so, any good options out there for pads? I'd like better performance than stock with less brake dust.... suggestions please.
Would stick with the stock pads for street use. Best to use new pads when replacing rotors. Others on here can give advice for track use.

I thought the forum consensus was best to use old pads with new rotors and broken in rotors with new pads.
Counter arguments were always backed by the factory shipping out new cars with new pads & new rotors and being fine. But, how many have the pulsating brake issue....
