Help me pick a cam

Been tossing the idea around of putting a cam in my 99 A4 and have decided to do it. What would be good for my application. I have a SY3500 converter and 3.73's. What cam matches up well with this combo and will give me the best results without being overly aggresive and really changing driveability?

The Thunder Racing 220 or the Thunder Racing 224 would be excellent choices. The MTI C1 or C2 would also fill your needs.

I started out like you and now I wish I had gone a little bigger.
They will all need some tuning to run somewhat smoothly. Even my "small" cam needed quite a bit of work.

I think that the hottest cam only set-up out there now is the LGM cams (G5X2- G5X3). They seem to put out some HUGE numbers. You might want to give Lou a call.
