Default 18x9.5 on front..?

I'm sure this question has been raised but I don't think it was answered or I just didn't see the post.

Anyways...
I am thinking of puting 18 inch rims on all four wheels 18x9.5 front 18x10.5 rear (yes Zo6 sizes tread width )

I currently have the standard non z06 sizes 17x8.5 18x9.5.
Will this improve the handling of the car ...will it stay the same or make it worse?

Thanks guys for any input.

I ran 18X9.5", and now run 18X10". I'm sure it will improve handling, but my reason was to clear 14" front brake rotors. The wheels will fit fine, and the car will drive fine. No worries.

2000 Coupe. Put the rear 18x9.5' rims on the front with 265/35/18 and bought new 18x10.5's for rear with 295/35/18, same y2k rim style as original but chrome. Toyo T1S Proxes tires. Handling and grip much improved. Hard to tell about the ride quality as I lowered it nearly 2" at the same time, but overall ride is OK to me.

I am running the setup you are looking into. 18x9.5's front, 18x10.5x rear. 265/35x18 fromt, 295/35x18 rear. Tires are Pilot Sports. The ride is 100% better than runcraps. I lowered the car 1" all around and handling improved markedly. I lowered that car after I had about 500 miles on the Pilots. The ride got a little stiffer, but nothing to complain about. I will be putting on a set 04 Z06 shocks soon and I'm sure that will help also. God luck. I think you'll like it.

Do you happen to have a link to the article or a translation of basically what was said?

yep. I run 18x9.5s in front on 265/35/18 GS-D3's, and no problems yet, except for very very tight turns, it rubs a bit.
