Belleville washers?
I bought 2 disc kits for the rear gears from GM Direct. It is supposed to, according to the GM book, contain the washers. Anyone know where to get them?

I have used these in the past on some of our gov't jobs where I work, but never for personal use.

There are more.
You can go to a local dealer and look at a parts blow-up if you ask nicley :D
I have yet to work on a C5 rear and don't have the service manual in front of me.

Re: Belleville washers? (C-5 TECH)
Thanks for all the responses. C5 Tech, I just got off the phone with GM. They don't include #1 in your diagram, in the kit. It's a spring washer. They are not sure they sell them either.

I just emailed a photo of the part. That # is for the retainer clip. I appreciate your help.

Re: Belleville washers? (jfpilla)
As per the service manual and the photo:
Install the clutch pack - right to the case - right.
Install the separator plates (4).
Install the friction discs (3).
Install the friction disc (thick) (2).
Install the bellville washer (1).

Re: Belleville washers? (C-5 TECH)
The Belleville washer is it. Now to get 2 of them. May have to have them made, unless someone has a blown rear and wants to get rid of them.
