Nice cam, LT headers, 4.10 gears, cold air induction, ET streets, 150 shot nitrous, and a launch at 6000 RPM

Should cost about $5000 installed....

cheapest=250 hp shot ntrous=10second time slip = blown motor. staring at your time splip is not that much fun. any of the vendors posted on the left will get you there.
it seems to me that people get all worked up about times times times. if you are just going to drag you car then that is cool, but steetable and good power deliverly are more important. just my $.02

Nitrous, sticky tires and weight reduction are possibly the cheapest but a solid heads and cam/bolt ons package (as mentioned above...see http://www.cartek.net ) will be the most reliable/daily driveable while still remaining relatively cost effective IMO.

MTI is a very reliable shop, it is located in central Texas... I'm not sure if they will get you into the 10's w/ H/C... Cartek is located in central Jersey.... I think the stage 2 X rev. is qouted @ $7995... but you should get the 4:10s, which are about another grand... so that will bring you to approx 9000 k w/o tax... you should definatley ship the car... I don't think that should be more then 500... there you have got your self a very reliable 10 sec. C5 with 27 mpg, all well under 15,000... you will have money for a ken king interior or MCM hood or something like that:cheers:

That package has gone 10's also in Bradenton Florida about a year ago. That was with a old package that made like 25 rwhp less. I know that 10's have been done with that package at many other tracks(other than Atco :) ). Definitely a stout setup.
Give Dave a call at Cartek, even if it's just to ask questions. He's a real nice guy. You won't regret it.

Yup, they ONLY run 10s at Atco in good air.

Brent still ran 10s (while the other similar CARTEK cars ran low, low 11s) in notoriously humid Florida.
Brent, Joe and Mark have all run numerous 10s at Englishtown, a notoriously greasy (during street car events) track, sometimes in 'less than stellar' air.

Just a little FYI. ;)
