I agree. It seems like a lot of time would be involved. It would be way cheaper to just buy a new car and sell your old one. That way you have more money for mods. The only way I would consider that is if I had a hardtop and wanted a auto. Kaley
From what I have read, teh conversion isn't all that bad. Some here have done within a day or two.

it all depends on how you use the car, an auto tranny is better for the dragstrip and a manual tranny is better for the road courses. :cheers:
if this is just a street driven car then the conversion is probably not needed.

The labor runs about 1500 or I have been quoted that it takes 15 hours to do. You will need to figure on retuning and that will cost another 350-500. I am considering doing this and it helps to find someone who wants to switch to what you have. You just swap parts and bring cars to the same place. Done this way....it is much cheaper than tradingwith a dealer...just my .02
