Default TTS Powerloader Feedback.

I am currently running a TTS power loader in my 2000 coupe. My last car had a Hypertech power programmer in it. I like being able to reprogram without having to send the unit away. I am in the process of putting lower gears in my car and will have to have the computer re worked. It going to run me $75.00 if I have it done through TTS. Or I can have the Chevy dealer program the car back to stock. If I do this I will get a new programmer. Just wanted some feedback on programmers. Should I stay with the TTS or should I get a predator or a hypertech.

Oh My God..I haven't heard that in a long time..Is he STILL in business???

Sorry..I couldn't resist.. :lolg: To answer your question..take the car to a reputable tuner in your area and have the tuner use the LS1 Edit to program the PCM or if you want have the dealer bring the PCM back to stock wit the Tech II.. that's OK too...then get a Diablo Predator and tune the car yourself.. OMG...TTS...Steve who?? Loooooose his #..:lolg: :lolg:

Thanks I need that!! :smash: :smash:

Hope your not in a hurry. Customer service is not one of his strong points. Leave yourself about 6 mos. better still go get a new computer, they are not very expensive.

After calling them twice about changing the program I can see why not to deal with them. I am going either with a LS1 edit or the predator. Sorry to bring up the subject about TTS guys. Like I said the car came with it and I am in t he dark about that company. Anyone know if I will have to bring the cars program back to stock before using the predator?

Yes, you must have the dealer flash the computer back to the stock program before using the Predator. Been there...done that! :)

I agree. I have the pos power loader only because Predator does'nt make
a unit for the 97 c5s.I'll prabably wait till next year to either buy ls1 or a predator if they are making them at that time.
