Default NGK TR55 plugs

I just recently put a set of NGK TR55 Iridium's in. When they came out of the box they were gapped to .050. I gapped them to .060 according to the service manual. Now I read somewhere that they should be gapped to .050. :smash: I guess that is the plug's spec. Anyone have any feedback for me? Should I take them out and regap them to .050. I haven't had any problems yet, but will this change the characteristics of the combustion process?

I gapped mine to 0.50 per recommendations on the forum. I believe the larger gap would be ideal in a nos setup, but I could be mistaken. I'm sure someone will clear it up fro you. As far as changing it out, I wouldn't think it would hurt either way.

Mine came at .057, and that is where I left them. No problem. :steering:
