does lowering a C5 help reduce wheel hop?
this cold weather is making my car feel like im driving on ice. im getting some wheel hop wondering if lowering would help reduce this?????

Great question! I'm not a drag racer but my gut is saying yes it would. I think that tires are the bigger issue, espeacially if you still have the run flats.
I've always thought that the stock C5 looks like a 4x4 with the GM ride height.
Lower that dude! :yesnod: it's free and will improve any suspension package.

i've lowed mine and noticed a lot more wheel hop at times for the most part it just spins but some times i get very bad wheel hop my car just broke to from the bad wheel hop check out my post

I may be off base, but at least in the AWD world, better shocks and bushings were all the world towards reducing wheel-hop.
I 'spect that'd be the case with these cars too - the stock bushings are pretty soft.
