jawski---I have similar problem with F1's and Z06 wheels but only when temps are in 40's and below. Most performance tires are warm weather compounds and they really don't work well when it is cool out!

I spin 'em off the line and even spin 'em on a roll kick down from 4/3 to 2. The spinning from the downshift is really starting to annoy me. Just won't hook up.:mad
I hear you on that downshift thing, can't just shoot into a hole in moving traffic without scaring the crap out of the other drivers. :eek: I've never been able to floor it below 65mph and not break loose. The downshifts really bug me, when feathering the thottle to avoid the downshift drama, I'm slower than lower powered cars.
I went on a tuning drive yesterday, and on some of the WOT runs the 295s didn't catch grip until 70mph. I can't give up the corners or wet streets, I think my only option is 335 tires and tubs.
