Need you guys help................
I'm kicking around the idea of a torque converter and gears. My problem is do I want a Yank SY3500 or a Vigilante 3200, and also do I want 3.42's or 3.73 gears? My car is a sunny day, 99.9% street driven car. I've searched the archives on every website that I can find and still get different opinions. I want the car to be as close to the driveability of stock, but when I get on it, it goes like it was shot out of a cannon. Please help me!!!!!!!

Get the 3.42's.. you will like the gas milage and the new found quickness of the mods... Going too high in the gearing (for a 99.9% street driven car) will not make you happy in the long run. :nono:

Thanks! I appreciate the help, now to decide on a torque converter ythat will have the streetability of near stock and the pull of a freight train! I'm not asking for much though, am I?

Did you tell the wife about this ??? (Just teasing) Seems like you are really hot on this huh . I will be luring in hopes that someone puts me over the edge and I just install mine also . :cheers:
