Re: P 1415 H C, first code in 3 years----> (Ram Air Tony)
Hey RAT,
From the General.....
Conditions for setting DTC > The HO2S sensor does not go below 222mV for 1.2 seconds.
OR
The short-term fuel trim does not change more than a predetermined value.
Actions
1. Connect scan tool and monitor the (left front) HO2S sensor.
2. Visually inspect AIR system component for heat damage leaks connections and security.
3. Inspect AIR system for blockage from the left exhaust manifold to point where the system branches to both side of the engine.
4. Replace the check valve.
Note check valve failure can allow air/hot gases to flow in both directions causing heat damage to the AIR system components.
Pull the black hose from the drivers side AIR valve right beside the left exhaust manifold and see if the valve is rusted close. Normally happens to bank 2 but it's the usuall culprit. If you can remove the black AIR valve see if you can blow through it.
PCM monitors the change in 02 voltage when the AIR pump is commanded on. If its plugged it wont see the change

:nopity Somehow, we find that hard to believe........ :D Have you cleaned your engine, or gotten moisture in the area of the heads lately? Could have caused your problem.
