Just wondering if there is anything to the Vararam Velocity stack they advertise for areound 50.00, and if anyone has had experience with it? I also understand they may have a new throttle body out. Some folks on other forums are claiming better feul economy and improved response, with no dynos.
Re: Anyone try the Vararam Velocity stack yet? (CeeFive)
I had experience with it. I didn't notice any change. Maybe it idled a little smoother. I took mine out and ported and polished my throttle body. If you want, I can sell you my velocity stack for $20.
Re: Anyone try the Vararam Velocity stack yet? (CeeFive)
I have had mine for about 1 month, and am not dissatisfied with it. Any SOTP difference, not really. It seemed to help with some throttle response. It is designed to direct the airflow better throught the TB. IT is only about 1.5 mm thick, and its trailing edge is nearly flush with the TB. Therefore minimal change to the cross sectional area of the TB. Would I do it again, maybe. Do I need to have it, probably not. I had an online gift card, so that is what I bought. Not much else to buy in that price range that would make a performance difference. They have a guarantee that you will make HP/TQ or they will but it back. So if you have baseline Dyno #'s, go for it.

I installed one Saturday and it didn't allow the air duct to seat all the way onto the throttle body where the SS strap clamps into the throttle body groove. I didn't notice any difference with or without it.
