just got back from autox event today and have some updates..have started to do some mods as follows... zo6 sway bars, lowered 2.5 turns on rear bolts, 3 turns on front,hawk hp plus pads, vararam air intake... [ this is done to 98 a4 coupe, 3.15 , f45, b&b mufflers, hoosiers on 18"s all around]...

the cars that were a few seconds faster [ zo6, zr1] were now doin some catch up!!. i actually beat a target zr1 in the event run, and was beat by .7 in time only runs... wow! not bad for a stock a4.... :hurray: the zo6's had to work very hard to match my best time and most did not !!! my car was one of the fast vettes at the meet :hurray:

thanks to all the forum members who gave input in past threads about autox !! :flag i have the kooks long tubes in the garage waiting to be installed ... gonna do it with some other mods to complete the setup and then have a blast raving it in every meet i can get to!!! :auto:

here is a review of the mods
1.zo6 sway bars.... if you dont have them get them.. period....
2. hawk hp plus pads... squeaky....dusty... incredible stopping power!!!!
3. adjusting ride height.... easy!!!... lower = better cornering...a++++
4. vararam... just like the ram air being picked up from behind my zo6 screens... a+++++
