Does any one have these lifters and can you tell me how I can tell If the lifters I have are correct ,They are supposed to be the comp R lifters.
There is no markings that I can see.
Mine have gold tops where the push rod rides.
Bought them used with 1 k miles from a forum member.
John
I've got 'em. The last three digits of the part number should be on each lifter. That number is 875.
Gary
I have them sitting right here. No markings on the lifter itself. But the box has the 875-16 on it. I wouldnt know how to tell them apart form the other ones. But mine do not have any gold color on the part where the pushrod rides.

Thanks for all The replys
I can't see the markings on them ,but they do have gold rings on the top so Dave from Cartek comes through again.
I don't want to just throw them in my retirement toy only to pull it apart again to much work for us old guys
Thanks
John
The gold lock ring is the tell tale sign. They should be Comp's.
So if my lifter dont have the gold ring.Does it make them just regular ones? I bought these from comp a while back. I hope they are the "R" lifters. :skep:
