Default Bolt on mod advice

So far I have vararam intake and slp loudmouth exhaust on my 99 frc. I was wondering what would be the most beneficial mod to do next. I was thinking along the lines of:

INTAKE MANIFOLD
MAF SENSOR
THROTTLEBODY
PROGRAMMER

Any advice would be appreciated. Feel free to list something thats not already listed. I can't go any higher than $500.

seems like a programmer or manifold is the best choice of your list. Others are controversial at best for showing any increase.

the intake manifold some say give a small increase others say it doesn't same with the throttle body.

For under $500 right now i'd just get some tuning done to the car by a pro with LS1 edit. Although all you have is an intake and exhaust good tuning will ring out a few more ponies that are proven unlike the intake manifold and the throttle body.

:iagree: The tuning is a very worth while thing to do. I was running open pipes for a few months and the underside of the car was sooty black from the rich exhaust! I bet if I had it tweeked by a good tuner the engine would NOT run as rich and I would see more HP!

of the list you mentioned the programming is what i'd do next....however if you plan on doing more modding in the future i'd hold on programming till you're done...

i'd reccomend going with a cam above all the things you listed...bolt ons add superficial power, if you really want power you have to go into the engine to get it....

did you say you have lt headers yet??

I've got to push for the B&M Ripper.

I had it in my hardtop and haven't reinstalled it into the Z06 yet. The stock shifter is bugging me.

Thanks for the advice. I'm still going to think about it. It's difficult to decide. I do plan on more mods in the future, so why would I need to hold off on the programmer? Thats kind of the way I was leaning right now. Can't you just change some things with the programmer after each mod? The reason I can't really save up is because all my friends are constantly modding so I need to do whatever asap.
