A4 help

I was wondering if there is something like the ratchet shifters for older cars for us. I have a tendency to down shift when I jump on the gas cause it throws me back. I need something to keep it in the gear I want it in, not just pull it back with a slip. also where do I get line locks. I can't start out any higher than 2500 rpm or the car will just go. :mad :confused:

You are stalling tha 2800 up to high at 2500rpm's. You should stay below 1800 for best results. :nonod: :cheers: :thumbs:

:iagree: i have a yank st 3500 and i leave at 2200rpm for 1.66's 60ft. times good luck.

How do you estimate the best lauch rpm for a X stall converter ? Aside from actual testing of course ( you know just so we have a start point ) . :seeya
