I'm getting an intermittent code 1226 when it is cold outside below 50 degrees and the car hits a bump. It did this last winter as well and I ignored it. From what I could tell it is excessive wheel speed for the left front. Would this be a bad ABS sensor in the wheel bearing? Can you replace just the sensor or do you have to replace the entire wheel bearing assembly? Any suggestions on how to diagnose the problem? Thanks in advance.
