Thinking about the following mods:Blackwing,Vortex power duct, throttle body by pass,x-pipe,GHL exhaust, modified GM throttle body, fog light screens and Granatelli Mass air flow sensor. How much HP gain 5-10, 10-20,more? Also anything I am missing besides headers (being considered) or anything not really necessary. Your input is appreciated.
Don't waste your money on the MAF, power duct (unless you think cosmetically), and the throttle body. If I could do it all over again this is what I would have done.
1. Vortex or black wing
2. Long tube headers, off road or high flow convertors, and X-pipe.
May be a few bucks more but it is a better allocation of resources for which you will get better results. Try to stay away from the urge to get little helps here and there by spending a couple hundred here and a couple of hundred there. Stay with the things that DO WORK.
The Blackwing and the GHL's are a great idea, forget the duct and maf, do headers and x-pipe, without cats if you can do it. the blackwing is good for 10+-, the headers 20+- , the ghls +-, no cats 10+-you could see 40+-rwhp which is over a 10% gain. and hell yes you will go faster--

:iagree: only thing i'd say is save the $ on the ghl and get a used z06 ti set....as far as going faster, in read world settings you'll see minimal gains depending on the rpm range and speed...however it will sound and breath better...step it up with a cam, heads, and a tune for noticable gains...
I agree with the dyno tune after, when I tuned in the blower (already had the H/C setup) I dropped the corsa's bolted on the GHLs and got 18 more rwhp and torque, on a stock c5 the ghls are good for 6 or 7 rwhp typically with headers maybe 10 but they will grow with your mods and are a superior performance exhaust system, I have no personal experience with the zo6 system, they are light and sound good but I don't know about the performance, my tuner pulls them off and puts on GHLs,
Do the Blackwing, Vararam or The Vortex. Forget about throttle body by pass,
Power Duct and Granetelli Air Flow sensor. Before you install headers if you have an M6 install 3.90 or better yet 4.10 gears. If you have an A4 install a good high stall T/C and at least 3.42 or better yet 3.73 gears. Swapping the gears on an M6 or the T/C and gears on an A4 will give you a tremendous increase in performance much greater than just a set of headers and GHL Exhaust. The GHL exhaust is mainly for sound and looks, you will not get a big increase in performance. :yesnod:
