Re: BBS RIMS (Tombone)
Very high quality wheel. They were the brand of wheel used by the C5R racing teams though I think they've changed brands now.

Re: BBS RIMS (Tombone)
ORIGINALLY HAD THEM ON MY CAR AND DID NOT REALLY CARE FOR THEM THAT MUCH SO I WENT BACK TO THE Y2K'S. IF I WERE TO DO IT AGAIN I WOULD DO THE HRE'S OVER THE BBS LM WHEELS ANYDAY. THE WHEEL LIP MAKES THE WHEEL LOOK SMALL THAN IT REALLY IS AND IF ANYTHING I WANT THE BIGGER WHEEL LOOK NOT SMALLER.

See what I mean. The wheel lips look so big it makes it look like you have 15 inch rims on the car in person.

Re: BBS RIMS (vettesurfer)
Great picture. Your right it looks much smaller. I compared your picture with the Fullhouse that Hickock makes and I like theres better. Thanks, Tom.
If you know someone who has Hickocks for sale please let me know!

If you like the "crosslaced" look, I would recommend the CCWs

Re: BBS RIMS (Tombone)
vettesurfer, I'll trade you my wagon wheels for those BBS's if you dont like em
I love those wheels, but I would definatly get them in a 18"/19" setup if I had the option.

Re: BBS RIMS
Thanks for the link. That lip does make the rim look small... That's strange though. I feel like I've seen the BBS rim on other cars where the lip doesn't look so big and the rim looks better...

Sorry, but thats not a pic of my car. I just found it on the web. I dumped my wheels 2 years ago and went back to the y2k's.

Re: BBS RIMS (Tombone)
BBS/Mahle make some of the lightest, highest quality wheels anywhere. Many traditionally used in world-class sports car racing. The originator of the "mesh" center section.
However, BBS makes many different wheels in a lot of configurations, e.g. one-piece, three-piece, etc.
Check them out.
All the best. :yesnod:

That's true, and the CCWs don't have the "downside" of chrome...chipping and pitting, for example.
