I was poking around on gmpartsdirect in the upgrade section and saw the T1 racing suspenion up there. Does anyone know anything about this suspension? I searched for it and came up blank.
it is the racing suspension for the corvette. several around have it, some have just swaybars, other have the full setup. check in the autocross and roadracing section for info if no one responds. i have looked into the getting just the bars but since the endlinks are adjustable i can run them in my group 2, so i will get hotchkiss if i feel the need to upgrade them.
After you drive a car set up with T-1 it makes a regular C5 feel like an Impala.
I agree. Have been runing T-1's for 3 years now with no ill effects. However, the heim end links do rattle slightly when the bars are not in a turn and being torqued. I just learned that Lou Gillotti has ends for the T1's that are teflon coated and quiet the bars quite a bit according to Lou. I am going to look into them. Love my T1's.

Re: t1 suspension? (Midwayman)
I have T-1 bars, ZO6 flat springs and Bilstein sports on my 97 coupe and fear no corner! The T-1's effectively stiffen whatever suspension you have-I actually liked the T-1's w/stock springs! Dick Guldstrand in Burbank, CA has a fix for metal end link clatter. I tried a couple different bars-once you have the T-1's you will feel insecure and wallowy with any other bars. Again harsher at low speed on city chuck hole streets! I am not familiar with the rest of the T-1 racing suspension-just the bars. :steering:
I love my T1 sway bars, absolute flat cornering, and no adverse problems and ive had them on for four years now. Do you have a web link for the Lou Gilloti end links.
