Default Random Cats keep tripping CODE P1153H. What to do??

Ever since the R/T cats were installed I've had sensor problems. Most recently P1153 H - Heated 02 sensor H02S--Insufficient switching Bank 2 Sensor 1. What the hell is a permanent fix to this problem? :mad :mad :mad :mad I already replaced an 02 sensor once 20-25 miles ago. Is this what to expect with the R/T cats??

How can I eliminate the problem??? PLEASE HELP THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!! :cry :cry :cry

I'd recommend calling them and describing the problem. I did so with an issue I had (popping different code) and they were helpful. If they care about their product they'll help you. Best of luck.

did it throw a check engine light? cause H means it a history code not current and if you did just replaced the sensor did you clear out the code? fyi sorry to ask a stupid questions. If you see it with a C then that is currently happening or HC which means condition happened since last restart and is currently happening

You may just need 02 simulators to fix the problem.

I am having a similar code. P0153 which is the front O2 sensor and you can not get sims for those. I am getting new O2 sensors this Friday to try to fix the problem. If P1153 is a rear sensor, just shut them off with LS1edit. If it is a front right sensor, I dont know.

Any got an answer?

:lurk:
