Want to upgrade the stock lighting. Want to try some 80w Xeon in the low beams. I believe stock wattage is 55w. After some research, they say the 80W bulbs should work in most cars no problem. I don't want to burn up the wires or melt the housing. Any one have experience with this?
I did a search in this forum and did not see any information on this..
Thanks in advance!
Happy Holidays to all!

Re: Headlights - 9006 80Watt Xeon, will they work? (C5~Missle)
I have used 100w 9005 bulbs for low beams. Make sure you have enough wires (get one of those upgraded wiring harness) and don't get coated/colored bulbs, the most candlepower is still achieved through unbriddled bulb glass.
