Your post didn't mention mileage or if you were having a problem, rough idle or a stumble etc. No problem and low mileage then no need to be changing the filter. :chevy

Sorry for leaving out the details. I read where a forum member was having
some pinging or knock and he traced it to his fuel filter restricting flow.
I too have been experiencing knock as early as 2K rpms under a moderate load. No stumble or poor idle symptoms. I bought LS1 Edit and set up a Dyno Tune, and even though I was reassured by my tuner that it was not locked, it was, and now with the weather I will probably wait till spring. I thought changing it may eliminate any wonder. My guess is that it is a long shot as I only have 16K, but I have used one to two bottles of 104 Black every tank since I did heads, cam, manifold, headers. It seems to have gotten worse after I installed 3" Random matrix high flows and Borla Stingers. I am thinking that I am running lean. Perhaps the ingredients in the octane booster has prematurly compromised my filter.
