My driver's side door panel is popping out along the bottom and aft because the nylon male/female "pop-in" fastner is not grabbing. Car is still under warranty - is this something the dealer should fix? Or do I have to repair this? It doesn't look so simple because the fastner (at least the male part) seems integral to the panel. Anyone encounter this problem? Any suggestions?
super simple fix......check out vetteessentials.com for door panel removal instructions and the plastic male end slides in the panel and the female end is just a press fit.....a 10 minute fix........ buy a hand full of clips for spares...you never know when or who may need one

Don't take it to the dealer it will take you 2 hrs. to clean it up not to mention what else they may break while it is there.
I have 2 or 3 clips I can send you at no charge. Heck being you are a good old Florida guy I'll even pay the 50 cents postage.

Send me an IM with your address and I'll get them out to you.
Speedy, many thanks for the offer, and to all you guys for your advice, also many thanks. Speedy, I tried to send you an e-mail direct, but I've had problems with my server for the last few days and don't know if it got through to you.
Anyway, I ran out to Dimmitt Chevy here in the Tampa Bay area this afternoon to buy a few clips and (get ready for this) the dealership parts guy GAVE ME 4 CLIPS FOR FREE!!!
Then he said "Merry Christmas".
So, I went home and fixed it. It was, in fact, a 10 minute job.
Honestly! Something free from a dealer. It just shows you if you live long enough you will eventually see everything in life.
By the way, this is week 2 of the C5 and I am really loving this car. No dissing my old C4, but this new one is really something else!
