I bought Drilled and Slotted Rotors from GMPartsDirect.com.
Loved them, but they rusted almost instantly. So, I bought a pint of
Rust-O-lium Gloss Black and a pack of small foam "brushes". I left the rotor on the car, burshed on the black paint. Unless you look REAL close you cannot see the brush marks, the rotors look GREAT.
The stock rotors are painted with something, so mine didn't rust.

i did mine but on the hub i cleaned and sprayed with HI TEP CLEAR i love it
I PAINTED THE CENTER AND THE VERY OUTER OF THE ROTOR WITH BLACK HIGH TEMP PAINT, (EVERYTHING YOU CAN SEE THAT THE PAD DOESN'T TOUCH) STILL ON AFTER 5K.
Paint the whole thing, the pads will knock off what doesn't need painted. :yesnod:
Uhh, if you do this you will have a HUGE mess on your hands. DO NOT paint the entire rotor and expect the pads to clean the surface for you. You will gum up the pads and ruin them.
Removing the calipers only takes a few minutes and then you can paint the hats and vent portion of the rotors. If you get paint on the surface of the rotor, just use a razor blade to scrape it off after it dries. I removed my rotors, bead blasted them, primed and painted with high temp semi-gloss black and they still look brand new.
I took mine off and then painted the whole thing with "cast blast". kinda gives the original look. Then I scraped the contact area off with a razor, turned out OK.

This man did it right! You should definetely remove them from the car and glass bead them, prime and paint with high temp. They will look great!!
