Hitting rev limiter.
I'm having a problem with my A4 not shifting at WOT. My car is a 2003 Corvette. I just installed a 3.90 rear and a Yank PT4000. The rev limiter is set at 7200RPM's and 2nd to 3rd 60MPH and 6000RPM's. It hits the rev limiter. It shifted fine with 3.42's and an SY3500. It shifts right where it's set at any part throttle position. It's not slipping, just not shifting 2 to 3. I haven't tried other gears. Has anyone seen this?

Thanks Roger, but it doesn't look good. I tried the #'s you suggested. I ran them while scanning. The 1-2 shift was right on. The 2-3 shift never happened and the RPM's jumped way up and the MPH stayed low. Must be the 2-3 clutch. I'm surprised since I really haven't beat on too hard. :sad:

Join the crowd I guess. Same happened to me and i dont even have H/C. the 2 to 3rd shift ( A4) was slipping at at WOT it would bang off the rev limiter. At normal acceleration it shifted perfect. Gonna get it rebuilt after the first of Jan. Can wait just cruising around is starting to get old.
