I had my 50AE (1 year old) up on a lift last week and noticed the same thing. Took it to dealer yesterday. He agreed (duuh), and now I am waiting for new shocks. Should get them on next Monday.
I noticed the fronts had more leakage than the rear.
Also noticed spewage on differential. Dealer claims the factory overfills it. But will check when the shocks are getting replaced. I handed him a TSB on leaking drive shaft seal. It appears to me the side covers have leaked at the gasket. I believe there is a TSB on that.

Anyone want to bet that when they change the shocks, they won't even look at the differential?
As far as the differential over fill I think theres some truth to the overfill condition. I thought mine was leaking and after I changed the fluid no more leaks. I dont know what they think they gain in overfilling them, I guess its better than too little fluid.

Dang. No, I haven't heard about that. I have F55 in my vette as well. After 16 months and 8k miles, I don't think that I have that problem, but I'll take a look over the weekend.

I'll have them look at the next oil change, but nothing yet (8m and 3500miles)
I think I remember reading of one member of www.50thregistry.com having this problem but thats it, so far overall I think this has been a very good system and as for overfilling the diff at the factory, I believe that one also, I've heard that from several people.
I stopped going to the dealer as I got fed up with them screwing up my tire pressures and leaving greasy finger marks all over it. Last time, after I told them to leave the tires alone as they were set correctly at 30 psi, they let them down to 20 psi because they said they were at 45 psi. You would really think a dealer would be able to use a tire gauge and might possibly have noticed the warning message on the dash
