I'm really suprised that you put 91 octane gas in your car. I thought all C5s need 93 or better.

Yeah I know......91 octane isnt the greatest but around here where I live in Oklahoma it seems 95 percent of the stations have 91 octane at best. Some Sinclair stations have 93 but they really arent that close to me. I'm just trying to keep the car in realistic gas mode for my area (91 :( ). Oh yeah, LT4POWR, the guys Z06 was red. take care all, Eric

That's messed up. There are no Mobil and Sunoco gas stations out there. Thank god there's a Sunoco around the courner from my house so I can get my 94.

Hey Richie, what looks stock may not be. That cam with a mild duration as it has may actually have more area of the curve than some of the 220+ duration cams available. I would like to see that cam with a set of higher lift roller rockers.

Hey Eric,
Congratulations, those are strong numbers with heads and cam, sounds very street friendly! What type rear gear ratio are you running, also is your car an auto or manual? My dad and i really enjoyed the christmas pix. My goal is also to run with the Z06 on the street but really to beat up on the SC cobra.

HI Tom!!! Great hearing from you on here! Give your dad my regards...he really knows how to do a Christmas card :yesnod: . Glad you enjoyed the pix as well. I'll have to send you updeated pix since I know have a higher rise hood on there. Just for you information I have a six speed and love it with the 3:42's but will probably go to a 3:90 gear really soon. The car feels really strong right now so I'm pretty content to keep it as is for awhile. Still debating the supercharging but I'm in no real rush right now. Glad your on the forum now. You'll have to email me and tell me about your latest hot rod. I know I'd like your Trans Am....love the body style. Take care, Eric

How could you go to both the Big 12 championship and national championship games and allow our beloved Sooners to get beat up on like that??? Oh well, time heals all wounds (not so sure about this one!). I guess theres always next year. :yesnod: Eric
