Default how to hardwire a radar detector??
does anyone know how? what do i tap into for ignition hot? where do i ground it? any help is appreciated.

Check the tech Tips under "Tools" up there ^^^

Here's how to install a V1 radar, Im sure other radars follow the same install procedure.

I was quoted $25 at Best Buy to hardwire my detector and to me that sounded like a decent deal so maybe try them? HTH :cheers:

just find a switched lead underneath the dash - i tapped into the one for the radio.
