z06 air intake, will it fit my 03 coupe

Here is my question, I have a chance to get one, I have a03coupe would that fit mine? It has the air bridge, filterbox and filter is this a complete system, any possible gains or is it for sound? thanks :U

the only difference is the cover over the filter
if its free go for it if your paying for it just open up the
cover you have.

I agree, if it's free, go for it. If it costs more than $1 I say go for the zip tie mod.

The cover will fit fine. Go for it - at least a little more air gets in.

The only thing you need to replace is the cover of your existing box with the Z06 box. I doubt anyone knows of the exact increase in HP, but when you see the difference in opening size, you'll tend to agree that your HP output can get only better. I don't recommend the zip-tie method, since it doesn't seem to provide even compression to seal the filter and may allow dirty air to enter your intake.

z06 air intake

If you drive your car daily like I do, the Z06 intake is the safest way to go. The Z06 cover is designed to flow better than the base Corvette airbox, yet still provide protection from water and snow intrusion. From the aftermarket intakes I have seen, none of them provide water and snow intrustion protection. The "zip-tie" mod can let dust & dirt into your engine.
