Vanity mirror/ map lights not working Help!!!!!

Vanity mirror/ map lights not working Help!!!!!

I think I shorted out two wires on my vanity mirror and now neither mirror lights up as well as the map lights under the rear view mirror. This is a huge problem as I am currently on the road and my radar detector gets it's power from the vanity lights. I have looked but cannot figure out which fuse controls these lights. Please help. If it is not a fuse but a relay, can it be reset or does it need to be replaced.

if i'm right,the light under the hood probably doesn't work either.the fuse that controls this circuit,i think is in the fuse box in the right front toeboard.it should be labled ldmonitor[load monitor].

I just wanted to say thanks. You saved my butt. The worst part about not being able to fix something simple like this was that I felt totally useless.

I am sure you saved me several speeding tickets.
