Does anyone have written out instructions that are better than the instructions supllied with the header? Also I have a corsa Xpipe will that affect the install any more than with the factory Hpipe? If anyone has good install pictures, will you send them to me at Montaindew@aol.com
Re: Stainless Works Headers Install Questions (BHulsey)
Try this link. http://www.c5howto.com/index.php?article=17. This isn't an SW install but I used it and all the priciples worked. The only thing I did different was, I put mine in from the top on the passenger side, and the bottom on the drivers side like SW suggests. I had to get the car up really high on the jackstands to do this though. I know somebody that put both sides in from the top, but he had to follow the procedure from the weblink above to do it. It's not that bad, and it might be about the same amount of work 'cause you don't have to get the car up so high. I put them in in Oct. and love them. I also put in the SW 3" mid-section w/RT cats. Check my sig and look at the RWTQ. I picked up almost 40ft/lbs of torque with this setup. I had the Corsa X-pipe and took it off and sold it to a friend. I think you may have a problem with the xpipe to collector sizes. I believe the SW collector is 3" and the stock C5 cats are 2.5". You may need to get an adapter to mate the two different sizes. Good luck.

Where do get the stainless works install instructions that say what way to put them in and how did you connect the adapter to the header? Weld or clamp?

Mine came with a small instruction sheet. I don't know if they have an adapter. You can check their website or talk to a rep. I think alnoe is a service rep.
Re: Stainless Works Headers Install Questions (ArKay99)
Hi Guys
The supplied adapters will allow you to use the factory h pipe. The adapters weld onto the inlet of the catalytic converter and slip joint over the header collector-the adapter is held onto the collector using a t bolt clmap. Depending on the year, the h pipe may need to be shortened approximately 1".
We also sell a center section with and without cats. The center section is 3" and includes a tig welded x pipe. The center section goes from our headers to the 2 bolt flange, and includes all hangers and clamps for a completely bolt on install. It is $399 w/o cats or $749 with cats.
Like our headers, the center section is backed by our lifetime guarantee.
