Surging when not in gear

Surging when not in gear
Ok here is the problem. When I start the car no problems when in loop mode. After it warms up, in open idle mode it bounces up to 2000 rpm and drops and stalls. This only happens when not in gear. In gear it idles great at 800. Anyone have any suggestions?

hey-Scott...that is different for sure, unfortunately our tuner is out for a few more days...occasionally when mine "acts-up" i just do an idle relearn and it seems to help...start car, neutral, turn a/c on and let idle for 5 minutes...then turn off a/c and let idle for 5 minutes...then turn off for 15 seconds....good luck.

Didn't you have "The Tuner" tune your car. :lolg:
