need some help with torque tube line up

im reinstalling the torque tube into the clutch. it goes in till it hits the fingers of the clutch, then it stops. so i figure its hitting the pilot bearing. i lined the everything up with the plastic tool. i tried lowering, raising, moving side to side the tranny but it still hits. any ideas??? its a pain in the **** rollin around under the car on my back with the jack stands :mad

i got the sob. wigglin in it side to side, jackin the jack up and down. after 3hrs of srcewin around :crazy: i got it :) and i bolted the rear sub frame back up. thats it for tonight :p:

Don't ask me how I know this :bb but check the wiring loom on top. I had the same problem only to find I had the loom in the way. Good luck. :cheers:

Man,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i'm taken all of this stuff in to prepare my self for my clutch job! :eek: :crazy:
I guess once you get your hands dirty the fear factor subsides and the flustration factor kicks in! :D

I cant wait till I'm done and the satisfaction feeling takes over :thumbs: :D

glad to hear you finally got it.

Funny how so the more complicated aspects of this work can go so easy... and then the part that should be simple... ends up causing the most trouble.
